HighScope Educational Research Foundation is an independent nonprofit research, development, training, and public outreach organization with headquarters in Ypsilanti, Michigan. HighScope's mission is to lift lives through education. They envision a world in which all educational settings use active participatory learning so everyone has a chance to succeed in life and contribute to society.

Yak Academy has worked with HighScope to bring Active Learning into its classes, camps, and preschool offerings. By combining the best of early childhood learning with the latest thinking in early world language acquisition, Yak Academy can feel confident that its children are getting the best possible language experience.
