Classes

 

Our play-based world language immersion classes for kids ages 1-10 meet once or twice per week. Children are enrolled in age and developmentally appropriate classes that foster growth and create building blocks for 2nd language comprehension and speech production, a native-like pronunciation and a true love for new cultures and traditions.

 

Since we know how difficult it can be to reinforce foreign languages at home, especially if you don’t speak the language yourself, we provide each child with a take-home binder. This binder is filled with activities, vocabulary, pronunciation guides and resources to help you out. Oh, and before we forget, you will also have access to our online Virtual Playground filled with even more games and foreign language tools than you can imagine!   Learn more about our age groups...	•••• Class Details: Learning Centers Children ages 1-10. Teacher to child average ratio is 1:4 with a max ratio of 1:8. Classes meet 1-2 times per week. Classes are 60 - 75 minutes. Prior language experience is not required.
1-2 Year Olds These little ones are energetic and quite curious, which is why parent or caregiver participation is a must! Together you’ll experience song, movement, use of ‘choice’ questions and short phrases that your child will best relate to and comprehend. Your instructor will have a lot of support to offer you and your child as you begin to bond with them like the big teddy bears they are.  Click here to select your location and view our parent-tot class schedule and pricing.	•••• Class Details: Mobile Programs Children ages 1-10. Teacher to child average ratio is 1:7 with a max ratio of 1:15. Classes meet once per week. Classes are 30-45 minutes. Prior language experience is not required.
3-5 Year Olds Here come the mental and physical gymnastics! We understand that at this age, learning goes from the hand to the head, not the other way around, so we introduce Total Physical Response (TPR), and non-verbal communication to keep children engaged in learning their new language. These classes can be some of the most exciting, as this is when our instructors typically see the beginnings of more complex foreign language speech production.  Click here to select your location and view our 3-5 year old class schedule and pricing.

6-8 Year Olds

‘Fast’ is the one word to describe these students. They’re growing quickly and rushing to be finished with just about anything and everything; plus they can read! 9-10 Year Olds

These autonomists are competitive and enjoy challenge. In fact, many children at this age can go extended periods without speaking any English in class.
